latest state of development
local system
For the local execution the following operating systems are officially
supported:
Linux, BeOS, Windows 95 and NT, Windows 98 with some problems
Theoretically, its also works on:
Windows 2000 (not tested), different versions of UNIX, Macintosh (we are still locking for a sponsor of a Mac ;-)
networking part
The server needs a system-V-compatible OS with a Perl 5 and some mods
installed. It was tested and is therefor officially supported on Linux
systems (tested on SuSE).
Ports of the server to systems which haven't SYS5 are currently not
planned.
The client is also only tested and supported for Linux systems. Anyway it should be possible to run it on every system
with TCP/IP and Perl 5 installed.
Ports are planned for: Windows 95/98/2000/NT, BeOS, Macintosh
functions
Moving objects: straight lines, circles, bezier curves
Different methods to change the values of scalars
All functions are implemented with many possibilities and properties.
network
The network is using the special nrp (network render protocoll) based on TCP/IP.
Because of security reasons it should not yet be used over the internet.
